Millsyeck, a blues driven rock band formed in early 2009,
released their debut EP 'Once Clean, Twice Dirty' in 2010 to
great review and have earned a faithful fan base ever since.
This led to high profile gigs and in turn Millsyeck were
finalists in the Kerrang/BlackXS national rock band competition,
nominated for a Scottish New Music Award and also were
finalists in the Hard Rock Cafe's Battle of the Bands.
Further prominent gigs were to follow such as three consecutive
years at The Montrose Music Festival, two consecutive
years playing Tattoo Jam Festival at Doncaster Race Course and a slot at MyChoons Festival in Derbyshire seeing the band winning over fans and critics alike.
The band also got to show another side whilst taking part in the Busking For Cancer charity project with Cancer Research UK, playing a series of acoustic gigs raising a substantial amount of cash in and around the local area.

In late 2012 Millsyeck, were riding high after clinching a prized festival slot at Hard Rock Hell 6 In Wales from over a thousand bands, chosen by a highly regarded panel of judges from Real Radio XS, Classic Rock Magazine, Metal Hammer, Playing alongside international acts including Skid Row's Sebastian Bach, Californian rock bands Ugly Kid Joe and Buck Cherry, The Quireboys and legendary American thrash band Testament.
Hard Rock Hell has come at a great time for Millsyeck who have been on the up
and up following a nomination for the 2012 Exposure Music Awards, London in October and winning a place in the finals of Band Crusade, an unsigned band enterprise backed by singer Sandi Thom and Def Leppard's Joe Elliot, generating lots of local and national press attention.
With a full album in the works for 2015 Millsyecks success continues to grow from their hard working ethic and dedication. With an array of plans in the background, the band are proactively working to cement their place in the future of rock music.
